Cudos to Bank of America

I recently got a new credit card for the balance transfer interest rates. (1.9% for one year ) It was a Bank of America card, and I have never used their services before.

I was having a hard time enrolling in the on-line banking. I use this service religiously for most of my bills. I called the 800 number for help and assistance. As I heard the automated voice tell me the wait was 15 minutes – I wasn’t too worried about it since I am at work and can do my job while listening to elevator music a little box popped up on my computer screen asking if I wanted to on-line chat with a rep.

I took advantage of this service. The rep was very professional and answered my questions regarding enrolling in online payments and even answered other questions that I had. It was a bit of a pain to type questions instead of speaking but it did save time waiting on the phone.

It was a pleasure to not have to wait on hold for the 15 minutes. I will be using this service again.

Brookfield Lens Crafters

From the Asian Badger

Regular Cheddarsphere readers should make it a point to visit the S**T list. It can save you a lot of aggrevation. However, I must point out someone who is definately NOT on the S**T list.

His name is Dr. Phillip Roy and he’s the optometrist at Lenscrafters in Brookfield @ 16970 Bluemound Road…I think it’s the Brookfield Fashion Center. It’s just before Calhoun Road on the North side of Bluemound Road.

I have some strange eyes and I need tri-focals for work and flying and contacts for golf. This guy nailed (my eye Rx) it. So if you need a good eye exam ($84.00 which includes photos of your optic nerves), go see this guy….he’s very, very, good. (262) 797-9322.

I get nothing from shilling this guy…he’s just very good at what he does. I always bitch about the bad stuff so it’s only fair to exalt the good stuff.

As a bonus, once you can see again, you can go across Bluemound to Pedro’s and see your tequila drink before you can’t see again thanks to the tequila.

Please add to the Good List in MKE.
